Hello lovely people! I am Emily, owner and professional photographer of Emily's Elegant Photography. Located in central Washington with work expanding to Oregon, Idaho and Nevada. I have been photographing since film, Polaroid and disposable - then my work really soared after I received my first DSLR as a birthday gift over 18 years ago. Specialized professional experience photographing for other local photography businesses, school portraits, personality portraits, siblings, infants, children of all ages, SPED, senior photos, sports teams and live events, birthdays, fundraisers, grand openings, weddings, maternity, birth, boudoir, landscape, real estate and more. I have a passion for capturing memories and telling a story with my work. I love creating new stories, visions and memories with my clients. My style is rich, moody and clean photos - I always love to take on new inspiration, props and locations for sessions.

Professional Studio/Field Experience
I have experience working as a professional photographer at the PNW's leading school photography studio. Leading my team of assistants, we traveled across the state daily to photograph faculty and students for the yearbook, sports teams and dances.
Professional Photography Education
Over 15 years experience in photo editing across multiple platforms and software; professional photography training at Parson's Photography Studio and over 40 collegiate photography mentor courses completed. I am skilled both indoor and outdoor, with natural lighting, studio lighting and speed-light photography.
Videography Experience
I have been invested in the art of videography and film since I used to make videos with my brother in elementary school. Using software to create sounds, music and short films for school and family to enjoy. With more time and skill, I moved into directing and making more short films for myself and friends, advertising for businesses and marketing on social media. By popular demand, I began taking short clips and making highlight videos for my couples getting married, engaged or proposing. Now I offer wedding day videography to capture your ceremony, speeches, dances and other big moments. Highlight videos are a fun way to share your special moments and include clips from your vows, music and more.
Wedding/Event Coordinator & Planner
Licensed administrator, coordinator and human resources manager. Working with local vendors and businesses to put together fun events, weddings, birthdays and more for over 10 years. Ensuring vendors know where to be and when, who to contact and what expectations are for each event and special gathering. Experience in developing timelines, contact/information/documentation packets and emergency plans to distribute among vendors and/or guests. Everyone needs a go-to-gal, let me take that burden off of you or a friend so that you can enjoy the day with your loved ones too.
Marriage Officiant
Ceremonies and elopements are such a magical moment. I work one-on-one with each of my couples to determine what experience you want to have at your wedding. I am responsible for preparing your ceremony readings for you to review before the big day, but don't fret on trying to find a template or create a special reading unless that is what you prefer me to read. Arriving early to perform your marriage and properly file your marriage documents so you can whisk away to your honeymoon without a care. I help explain and define the flow of a ceremony and develop new ideas to suit each couple's vision. We go over any rituals, unity ceremonies or religious traditions to include, as well as the ebbs and flows, vows and rings, etc. Authorized and licensed to perform marriage ceremonies in WA state. Attending rehearsal and other wedding planning activities for local bookings is included.
